The Process of Making a Website with Studio Fish

1 Step 1 - Initial discussion: Our initial meeting will consist of us asking you a lot of questions so we can come up with a plan on how we can best assist you. We want to understand the scope of your project, what you hope to achieve with our services, and we want you to know what to expect when working with us. We will also ask more specific questions relating to the project: preferred layouts, color schemes, deadlines, functionality of the website, and more.
2 Step 2 - Pricing and Timeframe: After a few preliminary meetings/talks with us we should better understand what kind of service and product you are looking for. At this point we will provide you with a quote which lists the cost breakdown of your project, and an approximate time-frame of how long it will take to complete.
3 Step 3 - Preliminary Design: If you accept our pricing and terms, we will start the design process soon after receiving payment. In our previous meetings, you have given us a rough idea of what you are looking to achieve with your project. At this point, we will be able to provide you with a rough design concept – this concept should give you a good idea of how the finished product will appear. If you approve the concept, we will implement the design onto a live demo server.
4 Step 4 - A live demo server!: This is the fun part, you get to see our ideas come to life on a live demo server! You can view the progress we’re making on your site and suggest revisions as we’re working on it. Live demo servers are great for two reasons: 1) our clients are able to follow along and see how the finished product will look, and 2) our clients will have more control of their website since they are able to suggest revisions while we work on it.
5 Step 5 - Website Development: This stage entails a lot of custom coding to make sure that your content is presented in an attractive and functional way. We will use HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Jquerey, and whatever other language we find necessary to get the feel and look you want for your site.
6 Finale - Testing and Migration: The past 2 steps were filled with revisions, tweaking, finding bugs, and a lot of coding. Even though it isn’t fully necessary, we like to put your website through a final testing period where we try to find any bugs or problems we may have missed. After all the wrinkles have been ironed out, we will migrate your site to a host and domain of your choice. We are done!
